Change the World MUN Emirates focuses on renewable energy diplomacy, addressing the role of international cooperation in ensuring a sustainable energy future. Students will engage in high-level debates on how nations can collaborate to balance economic growth with environmental responsibility.
Conference Details
When
Dubai is hot, dry and windy year round, but the cooler temperatures of around 18°C to 31°C mean there's very little humidity. There's also very little rainfall, just 0.2 inches expected over the entire month. Weather-wise, October and May are considered the best months to visit the UAE.

All students participating in Change the World MUN Emirates will be hosted at hotel facilities in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The list of hotels is being defined.

Registration & Pricing
To participate in the Change the World Model UN Conference, students must submit an application and successfully complete a selection interview with the Change the World Academy staff. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to enroll and complete the full training program, which culminates in their participation in the Change the World MUN Conference. Access to Change the World MUN events is exclusively reserved for students who are officially enrolled in the Change the World Academy and have completed the mandatory preparatory course.
Merit-Based Grant by Associazione Diplomatici and Change the World Academy
Thanks to Change the World Academy, eligible applicants may receive a merit-based grant that includes:
- Financial aid applied as a deduction from the Change the World Academy enrollment fees.
- Complimentary participation in the Change the World MUN Emirates Conference.
- Free access to the conference venue(s).
Change the World Academy: Enrollment Options
The listed enrolment fees apply exclusively to students who have passed the selection interview and are automatically granted financial aid through a merit-based program. These fees do not include airfare or visa expenses, which remain the responsibility of participants.

Travel Arrangements
Travelling to the UAE
We recommend that you read all the official regulations carefully before organizing your trip to the UAE. Find all the info on the official website.
Visas
You can apply for your visa in your country of residence. When submitting your application, ensure that all required documents are included:
- A recent color photograph of the applicant
- A color copy of your passport (valid for at least six months from the date of travel)
If you are traveling to the UAE, please check with the Embassy or Consulate in your country for specific requirements and procedures.
Important Notes
- Visa fees must be paid upon application and are non-refundable.
- Processing times may vary, and delays can occur. Without a valid visa, you may be unable to attend the Conference.
- To avoid last-minute issues, schedule your appointment at the Embassy well in advance.
- If planned properly, visa processing generally takes three to four working days.

Letter of Invitation
Change the World MUN is more than happy to assist you while getting a Visa offering help or writing your letter of invitation. However, writing a letter of invitation does not guarantee you are getting a Visa, Change the World MUN will not interfere with any Embassy or Consulate decisions or contact them on behalf on any person. Before planning your trip, please contact your local authorities for further information on how to get your Visa successfully.
If you need a letter, please email us and submit your passport information. A copy of your passport is mandatory to get your letter. A Change the World MUN Staff Member will get back to you with additional information in no time.
